My Sleep at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel Renovated Rooms
The renovated rooms of Edsa Shangri-la Hotel is certainly been long overdue. Gone is the tube television that takes close to a square meter of space with its bulky cabinet style housing. Now a brightly-lit room featuring recessed lighting from the ceiling and decorative wall piece that makes the room a relaxing place to sleep and a refreshing environment to wake-up to.
The Tower Wing - Deluxe room is only 34 square meters which I consider to be on the smaller side of the spectrum for 5-star hotel rooms when compared to newer hotels that opened within the last 5 years. That room size (Hard Product) is not a negative as Shangri-la Hotels prides themselves on their refined service (Soft Product) and attention to detail. Replacing the bathtub with a walk-in shower with a integrated marble bench is much more appropriate and much more convenient after a long day of shopping or meetings. The bathroom amenities is just a in-house brand which they might change in the near future as more and more hotels partner with luxury toiletry brands such as Fairmont Hotels; Le Labo - Rose 31, Four Seasons Hotels; L'Occitane, and Peninsula Hotels; Oscar Dela Renta.
The is a portion of the offering at Horizon Club lounge located in the Garden Wing of Edsa Shangrila Hotel.
